On June 10, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE, named the Office of Development Communications and Marketing as a 2020 Circle of Excellence Award winner.

The team received a Grand Gold Award, the highest award given in each category, for its work on the Auburn University Foundation, or AUF, FY18 Annual Report. Of the 2,752 award entries received from 28 countries, only 26 entries were designated as Grand Gold winners.

"The Circle of Excellence Awards exist to acknowledge and reward creativity and talent," says Jane DiFolco Parker, vice president for development and president of the Auburn University Foundation. "This is yet another very well-deserved recognition of the high caliber of work produced by our Development Communications and Marketing team and elevates Auburn's reputation on an international stage."

Judges for the award noted that the AUF Annual Report entry was innovative and effectively communicated donor impact in a compelling format.

“This report is beautifully presented, including packaging, photography, layout and the video component. The content is enjoyable, and the way that video advanced to complement the text material is really impressive. This is a great way to summarize the success of the university's campaign and the impact that it has empowered,” the judges commented.

“These awards demonstrate our members’ success in advancing their institutions through their remarkable and varied work across all advancement disciplines,” Sue Cunningham, CASE president and CEO, said.
