The Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies will be offering the Cary Center Nonprofit Affiliate Fundraising Series, a virtual series on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. from June 10-Aug. 29. The Summer Fundraising Series brings development and fundraising experts from across Auburn’s campus and within the state to speak to nonprofit professionals, board members, volunteers and students. These programs are free and open to the public. 

The schedule is as follows: 

June 10: “Building a Successful Annual Giving Program” with Susan S. Cowart, CFRE, Director of Parent and Annual Giving, Auburn University

June 17: “Securing Major Gifts” with Margaret Schlereth Arnold, Senior Director of Development, Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, Auburn University

June 24: “4 Steps of Donor Fundraising: Cultivation” with Greg Doepke, CFP, CAP, Cary Center Philanthropist in Residence, Auburn University

July 15: “Applying the KISS Principles to Grant Writing” with Noemí Oeding, PhD Student and Graduate Research Assistant, Department of Political Science, Auburn University

July 22: “Online Giving Q&A” with Ryan King, Digital Philanthropy Strategist, Auburn University

June 29: “4 Steps of Donor Fundraising: Solicitation” with Greg Doepke, CFP, CAP, Cary Center Philanthropist in Residence, Auburn University

August 5: “Donor Centered Virtual Events” with Brooke Battle, Founder, Swell Fundraising

August 12: “Discussing Planned Giving with Donors” with Alesia Davenport, CFP, MA, Senior Director of Gift Planning, Auburn University

August 26: “4 Steps of Donor Fundraising: Stewardship” with Greg Doepke, CFP, CAP, Cary Center Philanthropist in Residence, Auburn University
