Office of Human Resources offering LGBTQ+ ally training program June 18

Safe Zone, an LGBTQ+ ally training program, will be offered through Auburn’s Human Resource Development, or HRD, via Zoom on June 18 from 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

Every member of the Auburn Family deserves the opportunity to be academically and socially successful, including LGBTQ+ students. This interactive, professional development training is designed to address issues related to working with LGBTQ+ students. Safe Zone training can empower and equip participants to become informed allies who are willing to provide a safe environment for all Auburn students.

Register for the June 18 training through Fast-Train. If individuals cannot make that day or time but are interested in coordinating a Safe Zone training for an office or group, contact Brandy Smith at bls0020@auburn.edu.
