Auburn to allow events of less than 50 people from June 29-Aug. 8

From June 29 (when on-campus instruction begins) to Aug. 8 (when operational modifications end), Auburn University will allow events of less than 50 people, provided that the events ensure social distancing. 

Specific event guidance:

1. Events with less than 50 people need to be submitted to the regular channels (Campus Events Planning System, AUinvolve, etc.), and the event needs to ensure physical/social distancing and have a space that accommodates the group.

2.  If a group would like to host an event with 50 or more people, a request needs to be submitted in writing to the vice president of the group’s unit for approval. Included in the request needs to be how the event will ensure physical/social distancing and details about the space that would accommodate the group.

3. Events larger than 250 people are not permitted prior to Aug. 8.
