AuburnServes invites participants to join the Nonprofit Fundraising in Challenging Times webinar on Thursday, June 4, at 11 a.m. Fundraising is critical to the success of nonprofit organizations, even more so during these unprecedented times. This webinar will cover the basic elements of fundraising and will address strategies for these challenging times.

The session will be presented by Jennifer Ryan. Ryan joined the staff of the Government and Economic Development Institute, or GEDI, at Auburn University Outreach as the communications manager in February 2015. Ryan holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in communication and public relations from Auburn University and has been working in the field since 1990. Ryan started working with nonprofit, education organizations in 1992, and served as the manager of marketing and occupational safety and health at the National Safety Council in Orlando, Florida for seven years. She also served as the chief executive officer and executive director of the East Alabama chapter of The American Red Cross for 12 years. Before joining GEDI in 2015, Ryan was employed as the branch manager for Regions Bank in downtown Auburn for four years.
