Three COSAM faculty receive $2.3 million for NSF CAREER awards

Three COSAM faculty recently received more than $2.3 million for the NSF CAREER awards. Daniel Warner, an assistant professor of biological sciences, is the recipient of the $1.1 million National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development Program Grant to continue his work testing three unique hypotheses studying how lizards deal with variation in their environment. In addition, chemistry and biochemistry assistant professors Byron Farnum ($682,030) and Evangelos Miliordos ($558,375) received NSF CAREER awards to continue their research.
