The Hotel at Auburn University offering 'acts of kindness' cakes

The Hotel at Auburn University wants to help members of the Auburn and Opelika community show their gratitude and appreciation for individuals during the Coronavirus pandemic.

“The idea behind the ‘acts of kindness’ cakes was to help spread a little joy during a difficult time,” said Hans van der Reijden, managing director at the hotel. “We want people to think of someone who has helped them recently–whether that’s a friend who provided dinner, a neighbor who cut grass or the doctor who treated a loved one–and offer them an ‘acts of kindness’ cake as a way to show gratitude."

“Acts of kindness” cakes are available for pickup Wednesday through Saturday curbside at The Hotel at Auburn University. The hotel requests 24 hours notice for all cakes. Each cake is $18 and may be ordered online at www.sweettreatsbydallas.com.
