Ela Gandhi will discuss the life of Kasturba Gandhi in a free, live broadcast at 10 a.m. on April 9. Viewers can join the broadcast live from Pebble Hill from a computer or mobile device at aub.ie/pebblehillonline.

The Honourable Ela Gandhi, granddaughter of Mahatma and Kasturba Gandhi, is the founder and chairperson of the Gandhi Development Trust which promotes non-violence. Gandhi was a member of parliament in South Africa from 1994 to 2004. In 2002, she received the Community of Christ International Peace Award and in 2007, in recognition of her work to promote Mahatma Gandhi's legacy in South Africa, she was awarded the prestigious Padma Bushan award by the Indian Government.
