Bo Jackson’s Bo Bikes Bama set for April 25

Registration for the ninth annual Bo Bikes Bama charity bike ride is open at bobikesbama.com. Participants will have the opportunity to choose from a 20-mile ride that starts at 10 a.m. or a 60-mile ride that stats at 7 a.m. This year’s ride, presented by Wind Creek Hospitality, will take place in Auburn on April 25.

New this year, cyclists can save money for taking advantage of early bird rates, which are $45 for the 20-mile ride and $65 for the 60-mile ride. Regular online registration will be available from April 3-19 for $50 for the 20-mile ride and $70 for the 60-mile ride. Day-of pricing will be $60 for the 20-mile ride and $100 for the 60-mile ride. Registration includes a rider number, Nike T-shirt, access to the ride and rest stops, SAG support and a post-ride lunch.

Registration is open for the Bo Bikes Bama VIP experience, which includes a private ride and brunch with Bo Jackson on April 24. The $3,000 package, limited to 10 riders, includes a two-night stay at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center, professional photographs with Jackson, a personally autographed VIP jersey, priority start staging for the Saturday ride and Bo Bikes Bama merchandise.

Both cyclists and supporters can also participate in an evening reception on April 24 and a silent auction that will take place at the Auburn Alumni Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on a one-of-a-kind sports memorabilia and hear from Jackson about the upcoming ride. Tickets for the reception will be available for $100 per person. Tickers include hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine.

In addition to the ride and reception, cyclists and fans can create fundraising pages to support Jackson’s mission to make Alabama a safer place for all. Incentives for fundraisers include social media shoutouts from Jackson, tickers to the April 24 reception, merchandise, autographed items, a Trek bicycle and more.
