College of Education hosting lectures on equity and inclusion

The College of Education and the Diversity and Inclusion Committee are hosting Distinguished Lectures on Equity and Inclusion Feb. 18. T.J. Jourian, an educator, trainer and scholar, will give the lectures. A public lecture titled, “Accessing to Shaping: Rethinking Trans ‘Inclusion’ on College Campuses” is set for 4-5 p.m. in 2550 Mell Classroom Building at Ralph Brown Draughon Library.

A faculty workshop will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Feb. 18 in 3472 Haley Center. The faculty workshop will focus on building educational practices that are affirming around gender identity.
