Space is still available to plant trees and join a conversation about how climate change is directly related to an individual’s carbon footprint. Participants must wear closed-toed shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Attendees should bring water, work gloves and a shovel.  Students who require transportation should contact the Office of Sustainability. Registration for this free event is required. This event will take place at Mary Olive Thomas Demonstration Forest on Jan. 22 at 2:15 p.m. It is co-sponsored by the Office of Sustainability and the Longleaf Pine Stand Dynamics Laboratory in the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences.
