Auburn University employees have a new way to support their work family during times of unexpected need. Last year, the three employee governance groups at Auburn established the Employee Hardship Fund to provide financial support to eligible full-time employees who are experiencing a temporary need due to a qualifying life event. Employees are encouraged to support the fund–either with a special contribution or with an ongoing gift.

Donations to the Employee Hardship Fund, like those given during Tiger Giving Day and during the faculty/staff campaign, count toward faculty/staff campaign participation.

The fund is entirely supported by charitable donations. Thanks to the generosity of employees, the fund has already raised $15,000. Once the fund raises $50,000, employees may apply for hardship funding. 

Donors can share gift credit with or give in honor or memory of another person. Any person or entity is eligible to donate to the fund. Quick and secure ways to contribute online:
