As we are preparing for students' return this fall, I thought it helpful to provide a brief update. University leaders are developing a strategic and intentional plan with the health and safety of the campus community at the forefront. We will have a number of safety protocols, all consistent with state and federal health guidelines, such as those on physical distancing and the use of face masks or protective coverings. The planning also includes four instructional delivery methods, including on-campus classes, similar to what will be offered during the second mini-term of summer. While the above represents our current planning, we of course don't know the future. Much could change based on events of the next few weeks. We will provide specific and detailed information by the first week of July, perhaps sooner. Until then, we hope this information is helpful.
