Why did you choose Auburn?

The second I stepped onto Auburn’s campus I could tell something was different. I was impressed with the tour, beautiful facilities, and academic prestige, but when I looked around, I was most impressed with the care that each person on this campus had for one another. People mention the Auburn Family, and I was able to see it in action my first time on campus. That drew me to Auburn immediately, and it made the decision to attend this university so natural.

How has Auburn prepared you for your career?

I am studying supply chain management in the College of Business. As a junior, I am starting to get into the major classes. These classes are challenging, but I know they will help me transition into working for a corporation, hopefully in the procurement and buying department. Auburn’s nationally ranked supply chain management program equips its students with the knowledge needed to succeed, but more importantly, it provides resources so students can practically apply their skills.

How did Study Abroad enhance your Auburn experience?

I studied abroad this past summer in Madrid, Spain. While in Madrid, I took courses to complete my minor in Spanish. This experience immersed me in the Spanish culture in a way that was authentic and challenging. I traveled with Auburn students and was able to build relationships with students I had never met prior to this trip.

Why would you encourage other students to get involved with campus organizations?

Auburn does an incredible job of encouraging students to get involved. I served as an IMPACT Project Coordinator my sophomore year and had the opportunity to lead several Auburn volunteers each week at the Boys & Girls Club as a part of the university’s largest service organization. Additionally, I’ve had the privilege of serving as an official hostess for the university as a War Eagle Girl. This experience has exposed me to so many facets of the university I was unfamiliar with before.
