Miranda Nobles
Communications Editor

As a communications editor, I am responsible for working alongside communicators in the colleges of Liberal Arts, Sciences and Mathematics and Architecture, Design and Construction to write and share stories from faculty and students. My position gives me the opportunity to keep up with the latest happenings at Auburn, from groundbreaking research to development and the latest programs for students. I also work closely with the Office of Inclusion and Diversity to develop communications and marketing plans for the various events hosted by that office throughout the year. I graduated from Auburn in 2007, and I love using the skills I learned here to serve the university.

Favorite Auburn Experience:

My favorite Auburn experience took place in 2014 when I married my husband in front of Samford Hall. I think the lawn in front of Samford is the most picturesque spot on campus, so it was the perfect place for two Auburn alumni to tie the knot. We also got engaged in almost the exact spot where we said our vows. Samford Hall holds a special place in my heart and it is unbelievable to me that I get to go to work each day in such a beautiful place.

A close second favorite experience would be seeing the Tigers win the national championship in Glendale. My freshman year at Auburn was 2004, when Auburn had an undefeated season but didn’t get the chance to play for the championship. Finally getting to see them play for the national title was surreal. I’ll never forget the joy I felt when Wes Byrum kicked that final field goal to win. It was incredible to be there, but I hear Toomer’s Corner was a great place to be that night, too.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our daughter and our two dogs. We are members at Auburn United Methodist Church.
