Creative Supervisor

Day Job:
In my job as supervisor of Creative Services, I produce design work for various campus clients and also provide supervision and creative direction for a team of graphic designers. Most of our work is in print design, but we support projects in other forms of media as well. I lead our office's efforts in assisting campus units in complying with Auburn's graphics standards. This includes meeting with campus designers on a regular basis.

Auburn Connection:
I've been a part of Auburn University for more than 30 years, as a student, staff member or instructor. My fondest memories of Auburn go back even further - attending Auburn football games with my dad and watching Auburn's first Heisman winner, Pat Sullivan, set records that would stand for years to come.

Inspiration:
What inspires me most as a designer is the creative process itself. It is invigorating to have a design project brought to our team with only the goals of the project provided in any detail. I love the challenge of coming up with creative solutions to fit the project - beginning with research, concepts and ideas, and finishing with tangible work that exceeds the needs and expectations of the client.
