This is Research: Student Symposium 2015
Offer graduate and undergraduate students experience presenting research/creative scholarship and the opportunity to compete for awards.
Dates: April 13, 2015 (may expand to April 14 if needed) with awards ceremony on April 20, 2015
Place: Student Center
Recognize faculty mentors.
Have Very Important Tigers interact with Auburn University student researchers.
Have local employers interested in research attend symposium events.
This is Research: Faculty Symposium 2015
Recognize faculty engaged in outstanding research.
Date: September 30, 2015
Place: Auburn University Hotel and Dixon Conference Center
Encourage and establish interdisciplinary connections among Auburn faculty across disciplines (via poster sessions and lightning presentations); and with researchers at other institutions in our region engaged in research related to Auburn's strategic interdisciplinary research initiatives.
Showcase the work of creative scholarship (every other year beginning in 2016).
Enhance the external visibility of our research through attendance by the Research Advisory Board members, industry representatives, foundation representatives….
