Dates: April 13, 2015 with awards ceremony on April 20, 2015

Place:  Student Center

Purpose

  • Offer graduate and undergraduate students experience presenting research/creative scholarship and the opportunity to compete for awards.

  • Recognize faculty mentors.

  • Have Very Important Tigers interact with Auburn University student researchers.

  • Have local employers interested in research attend symposium events.

    Presentation Requirements

    This is Research: Faculty Symposium 2015
    Date: September 30, 2015

    Place:  Auburn University Hotel and Dixon Conference Center

    Purpose

  • Recognize faculty engaged in outstanding research.

  • Encourage and establish interdisciplinary connections among Auburn faculty across disciplines (via poster sessions and lightning presentations); and with researchers at other institutions in our region engaged in research related to Auburn's strategic interdisciplinary research initiatives.

  • Showcase the work of creative scholarship (every other year beginning in 2016).

  • Enhance the external visibility of our research through attendance by the Research Advisory Board members, industry representatives, foundation representatives….
