Auburn University presenting 1,160 degrees during summer graduation ceremonies

Auburn University will confer 1,160 degrees to its new graduates during summer graduation ceremonies. Education advocate Beth Thorne Stukes will be the guest speaker for the two ceremonies held Aug. 5 in Auburn Arena. Read more about summer graduation

Information for the day of the ceremony

Doors to the arena open two hours prior to each ceremony. Graduates should arrive no later than one hour before their ceremony is scheduled to start. A list of answers to frequently asked questions is available online. A parking map for guests and graduates is available online. Please take note of new security regulations: bags larger than 12" x 12" x 12" are prohibited in Auburn Arena. More information about name cards, parking, accessibility, prohibited items and more is available online.

Photo and video information

Auburn University Photographic Services takes pictures of all graduates as they walk across the stage during the commencement ceremony. Proofs can be viewed and purchased online within two weeks of the commencement ceremony. A proof will also be mailed to graduates approximately three weeks after the commencement ceremony which is available for purchase. Please plan to take your own personal pictures, either before or after the ceremony. For more information, contact Photographic Services at 844-4560. Live streaming of Auburn's commencement ceremonies will be available at www.auburn.edu
