More than 1,100 students graduating this weekend

Approximately 1,160 new graduates will receive degrees during Auburn's two graduation ceremonies Aug. 5. Lifelong education advocate Beth Thorne Stukes will be the guest speaker. Read more about graduation.

 


Students and university communities to experience local '2017 Eclipse Across America' program through sciences and the arts

People across North America are preparing to experience an eclipse of the sun on Monday, Aug. 21. Communities nationwide are holding events as a part of “Eclipse Across America 2017.”  Aug. 21 is also the first day of fall semester at Auburn University. As such, the College of Sciences and Mathematics and the Jule Collins Smith Museum are partnering on the “2017 Eclipse Across America” event as part of Auburn's Welcome Week activities. The event will be held on the Student Center Green Space. Read more about the eclipse event

Tickets on sale for Fall Family Weekend

Tickets for Fall Family Weekend and the Auburn vs. Mercer football game are on sale. Fall Family Weekend is Sept. 15-17, and many campus departments and local businesses will be on campus to help families experience Auburn. The Office of Parent and Family Programs is hosting a tailgate that Saturday prior to the football game, which kicks off at 3 p.m. CT. Tickets can be purchased online.
