Auburn Alumni Association hosting 'The Class of 2017 Send-Off' April 25

The Auburn Alumni Association is hosting "The Class of 2017 Send-Off" event on Tuesday, April 25, at the Auburn Alumni Center from 4 p.m.-5:30 p.m. The event is free and open to any and all students graduating in 2017. Students are encouraged to stop by and sign "The One Where You Graduate" board, pick up an official class T-shirt, visit with the Southeastern Raptor Center or Aubie, enjoy O Town Ice Cream and tailgate games. Students can also enter to win Auburn prizes, including a diploma frame. Register today online or check out the alumni center website for more information.


Rane gift to create new culinary science center at Auburn University

A $12 million commitment from James W. "Jimmy" Rane and the Rane family will create a new culinary science center at Auburn University. At its April 7 meeting, the Auburn University Board of Trustees approved the naming of the facility as the Tony and Libba Rane Culinary Science Center in honor of Rane’s parents. Auburn Foods launching April 21 with campus event

Auburn University is officially launching its Auburn Foods brand Friday, April 21, with a "Tigers on the Green" event from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on the Campus Green. Auburn Foods is the brand that encompasses local foods produced on campus or in the community and then is served at dining locations at the university. Read more about the Auburn Foods event.

Last show of Auburn’s theatre season uses satire to confront serious issues

"Exit, Pursued by a Bear," is the final production of the 2016-17 season for the Auburn University Department of Theatre in the College of Liberal Arts. The show opened on Thursday, April 13, and runs through April 23. Written by playwright Lauren Gunderson and directed by Tessa Carr, "Exit, Pursued by a Bear," is a comedic take on the serious issues surrounding domestic violence and is not suitable for children.
