Auburn University to host King Week events Jan. 15-18

Auburn University will pay tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by hosting several events Sunday through Wednesday, Jan. 15-18, to commemorate the late civil rights icon’s life and legacy. Events throughout the week are open to the public and will reflect the theme, “Faith and Reconciliation.” In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the Auburn University campus will be closed Monday, Jan. 16. Art museum improvements scheduled for summer of 2017

The Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art at Auburn University is working with the Office of the University Architect to implement phase one of a museum renovation. To complete the work, the museum will temporarily close to the public during the summer and reopen in the fall. The Lethander Art Path and Susan Phillips Gardens will remain accessible to visitors during the renovation. [Read more]

Charles D. McCrary Institute tasked with developing next-generation technologies for securing the nation’s cyber infrastructure
