The ranking is the latest example of the university’s commitment to providing an elevated experience that prepares students for their life and career goals through distinct and engaging programs. Students in Auburn’s public relations program, housed in the School of Communication and Journalism in the College of Liberal Arts, participate in PR campaigns and gain real-world experience through a required internship prior to graduation.

Auburn University’s Department of Theatre’s annual dance concert brings students, faculty, staff and guest artists together to create a community through dance. Conceived and directed by Auburn Theatre’s dance instructors, Adrienne Wilson and Jeri Dickey, “Dancing Community: Cultivating Our Roots” will feature the Auburn University Dance Ensemble, along with many guest choreographers’ works. Beginning March 21 and running until March 24, “Dancing Community: Cultivating Our Roots” will share their experiences on-stage.

The Birmingham Audubon Society is launching a new field trip to visit Auburn University’s Kreher Preserve & Nature Center this spring. The new trip comes after Kreher’s recent addition to the Alabama Birding Trail and as the preserve bolsters its efforts to improve avian habitat and birding opportunities on the property. Kreher offers birding enthusiasts a large diversity of birds and several different bird habitats that are attractive to members of the Birmingham Audubon.
