Auburn University music faculty to perform in concert Sept. 15

The eighth annual Faculty Showcase Concert at Auburn University is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 15, at 7:30 p.m. in Goodwin Recital Hall on the university campus. The concert, which opens the 2016-17 concert season and features members of the Department of Music, will include selections for brass, percussion, piano, strings, voice and winds.

Advanced tickets can be purchased for $10 at www.auburn.edu/music/tickets. Students, faculty and guests are also encouraged to purchase tickets beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Goodwin Hall. Tickets are $5 for students with a valid student ID and only one ticket per student may be purchased. For general admission, including university faculty and staff, tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children; children younger than age 6 are admitted free of charge. The doors will open at 7 p.m. Early ticket purchase is encouraged as a sellout of the 220 available seats is expected.
