AUBURN UNIVERSITY—Auburn University will officially dedicate the new Auburn Oaks on April 18 at 5 p.m. at Toomer's Corner. Following the conclusion of the A-Day spring football game, the university and the City of Auburn will team up to throw a block party with live entertainment, the Auburn University Marching Band, cheerleaders and Aubie.

Following the dedication ceremony, the Auburn Airwaves 2015 spring concert, hosted by the Auburn University Program Council, or UPC, will feature performances by Kesha, Nelly and Nick Jonas. The show begins at 6 p.m. and is free to both students and the general public.

"We're excited to host this lineup because of the energy that the artists will bring to Toomer's Corner," said Sagar Leva, UPC director of major entertainment. "UPC wanted to host a concert that would make students want to dance and enjoy themselves. I believe that Nick Jonas, Nelly and Kesha will provide that kind of atmosphere."

The block party event is being presented in partnership with Auburn Athletics, Auburn Chamber of Commerce, Auburn-Opelika Tourism Bureau, Office of Development and the Auburn Alumni Association.

For more information about the corner block party and a schedule of events on campus during the weekend of April 17-19, go to www.auburn.edu/oaks.
