The fall semester German Film Fesitval will kick off Wednesday, Oct. 4 with "Good Bye Lenin." The film is set in 1990 and features a young man who, to protect his fragile mother from a fatal shock after a long coma, must keep her from learning that her beloved nation of East Germany as she knew it has disappeared. The second film will be shown Thursday, Oct. 28. "Lola rennt" - Run Lola Run - is a move that shows that small events can have huge impacts on our lives. The series will conclude on Wednesady, Nov. 29 with "Merry Christmas" which is based on the true story of an impromptu truce on a battlefield during World War I on Christmas Eve of 1914. 

All films will be shown in 3195 Haley Center with English language subtitles. The start time for all films is 7 p.m. and door prizes will be given away.
