This year’s Discover Auburn lecture series, co-sponsored by the Auburn University Libraries, the Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts and Humanities and the Auburn University Bookstore, will feature women speakers as part of the celebration of 125 years of women at Auburn University. The speakers will include Miss America 2013 Mallory Hagan on Oct. 10; Olympic gold medalist Ruthie Bolton on Oct. 17; historian and author Leah Rawls Atkins on Nov. 1; attorney, author and university trustee Liz Huntley on Nov. 8; and author and columnist Rheta Grimsley Johnson on Nov. 14. All lectures will be held at 3 p.m. in the Special Collections Department of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.
