The Emerge at Leadership program launch will take place Aug. 27 at 6:30 p.m. at Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum. The freshman program focuses on developing leadership skills and solving problems around campus.

Emerge at Auburn has six executive members, 72 team and assistant team leaders and 1,022 freshmen. The leadership program is a 4-year program that will span a student's college career.

"This program will provide students with practical experiences and valuable knowledge to make them world-class leaders," said Lady Cox, assistant vice president for Student Engagement. "Top businesses will seek out resumes with Emerge at Auburn as they know they will have found a leader ready for work."
