Notice body

The Campus Kitchen is starting volunteer shifts where student-led food recovery networks will work to reduce food waste and food insecurity in the Auburn community. In 2016, the kitchen collected more than 14,000 pounds of food.

There are many different types of shifts including picking up food from the kitchens, delivering and organizing the food in the fridges and freezers. Students can sign up for shifts at any time of the day Monday through Friday. Each shift lasts between 30 minutes to one hour. All of the volunteer opportunities can be found online or by joining the organization on AUinvolve. Contact with any other questions or for further opportunities to get involved.
