The Auburn University Career Center hosted the Spring Internship and Part-time Job Fair Jan. 30 in the Student Center Ballroom.

The fair consisted of 113 representatives from 33 organizations who were offering internships and part-time jobs to students of all majors. Employers recruited for jobs in industries including business, sales, public relations, logistics, consulting, engineering and more. The event offered opportunities to explore options and network with companies including the Auburn University Athletics Department, the City of Auburn, Target Corporation and the Peace Corps.

The event produced an attendance of 279 students. This year's Spring Internship and Part-Time Job Fair experienced an equivalent attendance of the Spring 2017 Internship and Part-Time Job Fair. Students continue to see the importance of gaining relevant experience through internships and part-time jobs and acknowledge that their skills can be refined in these positions.

The Auburn University Career Center delivers comprehensive services and programs for students to explore majors and careers, network with employers and professionals, prepare for advanced education and successfully transition from college to career.
