The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Auburn University, or OLLI at Auburn, will host Daniel Haulman for its Wisdom Wednesdays lecture Feb. 28, from 2:30-4 p.m. at the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art, 901 S. College St.

Haulman is a military historian and the author of “The Tuskegee Airmen Chronology,” the story of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African American pilots in American military service. The book follows several story threads, such as the training story, the 99th Fighter Squadron story, the 332nd Fighter Group Red Tail story and the 477th Bombardment Group story.

Attendees to this presentation will learn about the varieties of the Tuskegee Airmen’s experiences as they forged new frontiers for equal opportunity.
