Notice body

Auburn Libraries’ government documents department has assembled an exhibit of publications dealing with African Americans in times of war from their vast collection of government documents. The exhibit is located on the first floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library near the entrance to the Media and Digital Resource Lab and is open to the public during all regular library hours.

In its role as a federal depository library, Auburn University Libraries is home to a large collection of publications prepared by the federal government. Marilyn Floyd, government documents cataloger, conceived the idea for the exhibit and selected the documents that best represent the subject area. The publications span the African American experience in wartime from the Revolutionary War to the present. The exhibit will be open for the entire month of February.
