The College of Science and Mathematics Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs, or ODMA, ambassadors are hosting a showing of “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks” in celebration of Black History Month. The showing will be followed by a discussion on Feb. 22 at 5:30 p.m. in Science Center Classroom 115.

The film brings to light issues of race, class and ethics in scientific research. Join OMDA to learn more about this story and participate in a panel discussion that will include scientific research experts. Refreshments will be provided.
