The Auburn University Career Center hosted the spring 2018 STEM Career Expo Feb. 13-14 in the Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum.

The STEM Career Expo hosted 325 representatives from 122 organizations offering internships and full-time jobs to students aspiring to enter the science, technology, engineering and mathematics career fields. This event allowed students to network with leading companies in the industry like ExxonMobil, Delta Airlines, Southern Company and Milliken. Many students had the opportunity to return for next-day interviews.

The event produced an attendance of 874 students, a six percent increase in student attendance compared to the same event in 2017. This year's spring STEM Career Expo included 19 more employers registered compared to last year’s event, an 18.4 percent increase. One of the unique attributes of this event was the addition of professional photography services which allowed attendees the opportunity to take a free professional headshot to use on their Handshake, LinkedIn profiles and online portfolios.
