Evelyne M. Bornier, associate professor in the Department of Foreign Languages & Literatures, has been selected as a scientific committee member for the "Mobility of Researchers in the Americas" program and will be collaborating with the Centre de la Francophonie des Amériques in Quebec City, Canada. The Researcher Mobility in the Americas program reflects the desire of the Centre de la Francophonie des Amériques to promote research in French and to foster cooperation between scientists from the Americas and Francophone communities in the Americas.

The Centre de la Francophonie des Amériques contributes to the promotion and enhancement of Francophonie, with a focus on the future of the French language, in the context of cultural diversity by focusing on strengthening and enriching relationships as well as complementarity of action between Francophones and Francophiles in Quebec, Canada and the Americas.
