The Black Graduate and Professional Student Association will host its signature Dr. Juan Gilbert Distinguished Lecture Series on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 5 p.m. in Foy Auditorium. Dr. Nadia Richardson, founder of Valenrich Wellness and No More Martyrs, will be the keynote speaker. As part of this program, established minority scholars are asked to speak to graduate and professional students about their journey through academia and other unique experiences that contributed to their current career in science. In addition, the lecturer is asked to share their advice on how to be successful future leaders in our fields. Richardson will speak to attendees on the topic of "Excellence in Academics: Understanding Mental Health In Minority Students." Understanding the experiences of minority students is crucial in strengthening the Auburn Family. Students, faculty and administrators and invited to attend the event. 

Light refreshments and a short meet and greet with Richardson will followi the lecture.
