Constance Relihan, associate provost of undergraduate studies and director of University College, has been selected to participate in the 2018 Mini Joint Civilian Orientation Conference, or JCOC, the Department of Defense’s oldest and most prestigious orientation program.

For several days in April, Relihan and other selected business, college and community leaders will participate in tactical training exercises at military installations, engage with service members and senior military officials and learn more about the capabilities and mission of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Relihan received her doctoral and master’s degrees from the University of Minnesota, and her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois. She joined the Auburn University faculty in 1990 and served as the senior associate dean for academic affairs in the College of Liberal Arts before being named associate provost of undergraduate studies. She is also a professor in the Department of English.
