The Office of International Programs is holding a discussion on the various options for and realities of working with the United Nations during a free lunch seminar Feb. 6.

Douglas Coutts, distinguished visiting professor and retired diplomat in residence, spent 30 years working for the UN in various capacities. His most recent appointment was as head of the UN system in Comoros, a post-conflict, fragile and food-insecure island nation located in the southwest Indian Ocean. Coutts will discuss UN operations in education, international development and humanitarian work.

The seminar will take place Feb. 6 in 2222 Student Center from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. Lunch will be provided, and students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
