The Department of Music is holding Woodwind Day 2018, which is scheduled for Feb. 3 in Goodwin Hall. It will include a full day devoted to woodwinds with master classes, recitals, exhibits, rehearsals and a finale concert featuring all the participants in concert in a massive woodwind choir. Faculty members will be teaching and performing throughout the day, including Alina Windell (flute), Kristin Leitterman (double reeds), David Odom (clarinet) and Michael Pendowski (saxophone). Woodwind performers and enthusiasts of all ages and ability levels are invited to gather for this all-day celebration of everything woodwind. The events will begin at 8 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m.

Registration fee is $20 and includes lunch for the participants. On-site registration begins at 8 a.m. Those who pre-register online by Jan. 26 will receive a discounted rate of $15.
