Auburn University employees who are eligible for the One-Time Merit Supplement and who currently contribute to a tax-deferred annuity will have contributions taken from their merit supplement. If an employee wishes to stop the contributions, a new Voluntary Salary Deferral Agreement (VSDA) for the Tax Deferred 403(b) Plan and/or the 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan must be completed and submitted to Human Resources by Friday, Nov. 17, at 4:45 p.m. Contributions will be stopped for the entire month of December.

On the same VSDA, the employee may indicate his or her wish to start the contributions again in January. If the employee does not wish to start back in January, a new VSDA can be completed later. Human Resources will not accept VSDA forms after Nov. 17 at 4:45 p.m. For additional information, call Human Resources at 844-4145.
