The School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture 2017-2018 Lecture Series, | in between |, presents Coleman Coker, who will give his lecture, “Ethics and Poiesis: Design in the Anthropocene,” on Monday, Oct. 23, at 3:30 p.m. in Dudley B6 auditorium. Coker is the Ruth Carter Stevenson Regents Chair in the Art of Architecture and is the director of the Gulf Coast DesignLab at the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture. He is the founding principal of buildingstudio, which is based in Memphis and New Orleans. Coker founded buildingstudio in 1999 after a 13-year partnership with Samuel Mockbee as Mockbee/Coker Architects.
