Faculty interested in commercializing their ideas, but who need support to bridge the gap between their research and the marketplace, are encouraged to apply for support through the LAUNCH Innovation Grants Program.

There is a pool of $100,000 from which grants may be awarded. Funds are provided by the Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development, and grants are awarded by an independent panel of judges.

"Auburn is committed to providing a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem for our faculty, staff and students as a natural extension of our land-grant mission," said John Mason, vice president for Research and Economic Development. "Every day, our experts put good ideas to work in innovative ways across a range of sectors."

The Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development will begin accepting applications for the 2018 LAUNCH Innovation Grants Program on Oct. 9. To learn more visit the program website or call Cary Chandler at 844-7441.
