Notice body

Faculty and staff are invited to “take a seat” and be a part of Auburn University’s history.

In August, the university began construction on a new, world-class performing arts center. This center, with a 1,200-seat theatre, will be located on South College Street, directly across from the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art. The center will create a new cultural arts district for Auburn, serving both the university and community in tandem with the museum.

The faculty and staff of Auburn University are invited to name a seat in the new Performing Arts Center, either in their name or to memorialize, recognize or honor a loved one.

For a gift of $2,000, the seat will be a lasting testament to their support of the performing arts and the power of the arts to transform the human experience.

The donation can be an outright gift or scheduled as monthly payments over a two-year period for $83.33 per month. A monthly payroll deduction may be set up by clicking here and selecting “Performing Arts Center” for your designation. Your gift will count toward Faculty Staff campaign participation for 2018 and 2019 and will mark you as a dedicated member of our new performing arts center family, with invitations to events and early notifications about the season.
