Outgoing University Senate Chair James Goldstein presented President Jay Gogue with a resolution at the June 13 meeting.

In its final meeting of the academic year, the Auburn University Senate presented President Jay Gogue with a resolution honoring his service to the university. The resolution noted Dr. Gogue's respect for shared governance, among other contributions during his 10-year tenure at Auburn. In other matters, the Senate voted on members of Senate committees and approved a proposal for eligibility of certain non-tenure-track faculty for emeritus status. Meetings will resume in the fall semester when Daniel Svyantek assumes the role of Senate chair.
