The Office of Risk Management and Safety will offer a free safety training session Wednesday, May 24, covering topics focusing on lab and biological safety and waste management. The session is open to the university community and would be ideal for visiting researchers and summer volunteers who do not have access to the university's online training database to get necessary safety training required for working in a lab.

The session will be held from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. in room 109 of the Center for Advanced Science, Innovation and Commerce, which is located at 559 Devall Drive.

Attendees do not have to register beforehand. For more information on the training session, contact Risk Management and Safety's Lab Safety Specialist and Biological Safety Officer Abbie Beaty at 750-8040 or butleaj@auburn.edu
