TESS Talks, or Together Embracing Successful Scholars, will host its Spring 2017 event on Wednesday, April 19, at 4 p.m. in the Terrace Room at the Auburn University Hotel and Dixon Conference Center.

Hosted by the Women in Science and Engineering, or WISE, Institute in the Office of Inclusion and Diversity, TESS Talks feature distinguished female scholars at Auburn University.

This session will feature researchers presenting on the topic of sustainability. Sweta Byahut, assistant professor in political science; Nanette Chadwick, associate professor in biological sciences and director of academic sustainability programs for the Office of the Provost; and Lisa Kensler, the Leischuck Distinguished Associate Professor in Educational Foundations, Leadership and Technology, will each present on their research.

Following the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the speakers, ask questions, share ideas and network with other attendees. TESS Talks are free and all are invited to attend.
