Industry experts from General Electric, Microsoft, Walmart and DHL Supply Chain will discuss the links between technology adoption and supply chain success at the Fusion 2017: Supply Chain and Technology symposium hosted by the Raymond J. Harbert College of Business' Center for Supply Chain Innovation on Thursday, April 27 at Saugahatchee Country Club.

Fusion 2017 will enable supply chain and logistics practitioners to engage in discussion of such topics as digital technology, supply chain strategy in the omnichannel era, blockchain and disruptive technology.

Jennifer Schopher, Executive Director of Asset Performance Management and Analytics for GE Transportation, will serve as the keynote speaker and address the 125-year-old company has transformed itself and its customers through digitization. Microsoft Global Business Strategist Yorke Rhodes will provide a future view of blockchain technology and how it applies to supply chain.

Panel sessions will focus on supply chain strategies and technologies in omnichannel, as well as how analytics software, real-time location tracking solutions and the Internet of Things can optimize supply chain processes. Executives from Walmart, DHL Supply Chain, Chainalytics, Logility, CMAC Technology Solutions and PLUS Location Systems will serve as panelists.
