The Environmental Design Program in the College of Architecture, Design and Construction will present a lecture and workshop by Holley Henderson, LEED Fellow, founder of H2 Ecodesign and CADC Interior Architecture alumna. Henderson is a recognized sustainability and green building expert, author, consultant and speaker and has been honored as a LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, Fellow, the green building industry’s most prestigious professional designation. She has nearly 15 years and 4 million square feet of successful LEED certifications around the world. Her lecture, “Stories of eco-Trends: Reuse + Health + Social,” is at 11 a.m. in Dudley Auditorium B6. Her workshop, “Becoming a Green Building Professional,” will be in 204 Dudley from 1-3 p.m. Both are free and open to the public.
