Students from kindergarten through 12th grade can get the scoop on the dairy business and milk facts at Dairy U 2017, an educational, hands-on workshop set for Saturday, April 22 from 8 a.m.–3 p.m., at the Stanley P. Wilson Beef Teaching Unit on the Auburn University campus.

Auburn Department of Animal Sciences majors have developed and will lead the day’s activities, which will give participants the opportunity to learn about dairy cattle, where milk comes from and how it gets from the farm to the fridge.

The deadline to register for Dairy U is Saturday, April 1. The $12-per-student registration fee includes all activities, lunch, snacks and a t-shirt. Parents are welcome to participate but must pre-register separately. Adult registration is $12 and covers activities, lunch and snacks.

Registration is available online or contact Boyd Brady at 844-1562 or bradybo@auburn.edu.
