Notice body

The Auburn University student chapter of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers will be hosting its annual fundraiser, the lawnmower clinic, this weekend. This service allows the community to have their lawnmowers tuned up for spring for only $30. Service includes an oil change, blade sharpening, spark plug cleaning and mower washing. Drop off will be at the Center for Bioenergy and Bioproducts, 520 Devall Drive, on Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 6 a.m. to noon. Pickup will be Saturday from 1-5 p.m. Service is limited to push mowers only, and they must be demonstrated to be able to start when dropped off. Proceeds from this fundraiser send students to the ASABE Southeast Rally, an opportunity for agricultural and biological engineering students to learn more about becoming an engineer. Students will have the chance to network with peers, learn about the host school's research projects and hear from keynote speakers. For more information on the fundraiser, contact Annelise Salzmann at aks0031@auburn.edu or 251-747-0908.
