The 18th annual Engagement Scholarship Consortium conference will take place Sept. 26-27 in Birmingham with pre-conference workshops taking place Sept. 24-25. Proposal for presentations and posters must be submitted online by March 15. Presenters will need to register for the conference and are responsible for travel expenses, including hotel reservations. The cost of conference registration is $450 for members and $545 for non-members. The special conference hotel rate for single and double occupancy reservations is $129 per night.

The Engagement Scholarship Consortium, or ESC, is a non-profit educational organization composed of higher education member institutions, both public and private. Their goal is to work collaboratively to build strong university-community partnerships anchored in the rigor of scholarship and designed to help build community capacity.
